Frank Ervin Aitchison

Frank E. Aitchison III, 47, of 20430 W. Johnson Road, died Sunday afternoon in Memorial Hospital, after an illness. He was president of Robinson Equipment Co. and president of Power Components of Midwest Inc., both in South Bend.

He was born June 26, 1937, in South Bend, and lived here all of his life. On June 3, 1961, in South Bend, he married Wilma A. Reiner. She survives with a daughter, Susan Aitchison of Indianapolis; a son, Frank E.  IV of South Bend; two sisters, Nancy Starrett of Mishawaka and Winifred Morris of Papillon, Neb.; a brother, James of Granger; and his parents, Joyce and Frank Aitchison Jr. of Mishawaka.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Jude’s Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger.

Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Guisinger Colonial Chapel where a parish rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m.

He was a veteran of the Army Reserve for six years.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Science Fund or the St. Jude’s Athletic Association.
