Robert G Kasa, passed away on August 11, 2018 at Forest Hills Alzheimer Center in Columbus, Ohio after battling Lewy Body Dementia. He was surrounded by family. Robert was born in Mishawaka, Indiana on September 19, 1937 to George R Kasa and Thelma L Kasa, both are deceased. He is survived by his wife, Judith A Kasa (Einkopf), of 60 years. Also surviving are son, Robert L (Melani) Kasa of Bowie, MD; daughter, Diane L (John) DeWald of Delaware, OH; son, Richard A Kasa of Louisburg, NC; grandsons, Michael R and Matthew L Kasa; step granddaughters, Magelle and Miana Bigol; step grandsons, Miguelle and Martin Bigol; sisters, Patricia L (William) Longley; Rose M (Mike) Keyser; and step sister, Phyllis (Dean) Davis; along with many nieces and nephews. Bob graduated from John Adams High School and completed an apprenticeship as a Tool and Die Maker. Bob later went to work for and retired from Bendix/Allied Signal. He spent his retirement taking care of his small farm west of South Bend and with his hobby of Amateur Radio with his call sign of W9OGZ. There will be no funeral services. Burial of Robert's ashes will be at Chapel Hill Cemetery at a yet to be determined date.
