Sharon Ann Clapp, age 79, widow of Samuel Joseph Clapp, died Friday, July 1, 2016, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born March 2, 1937, in Mishawaka, Indiana, a daughter of the late Richard Kerner and Dorothy Smith King. Sharon was a member of the Catholic Church of the Annunciation.

She is survived by: three daughters, Katherine (Mike) Leer, Jeannie Roggemann and Rebecca Tubbs; two sons, David Clapp and Dan Roggemann; a sister, Kathy Russell; 15 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 8, at the Catholic Church of the Annunciation by Rev. Daniel Fister, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery, in Paris. Casket bearers will be Jim Baber, Jamie Courtney, Matt Roberts, Vance Blackwell, Mike Leer and Andrew McCullough. Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Friday at the church.
