March 14, 1953 - Sept. 10, 2012 SOUTH BEND - James Michael McDonald, 59, residing in Auburn, NH, passed away September 10, 2012. He was born March 14, 1953, in South Bend, to the late Richard J. & Elaine (Edwards) McDonald. On December 27, 1987, in Lowell, Massachusetts, he married the former Siubhan O'Rourke, who survives. James worked for DuPont in Boston, MA, for several years prior to his death. He was formerly an English professor at Southwestern Michigan College in Dowagiac, MI. In addition to his loving wife, Sue of Auburn, NH, James is survived by sisters, Laurie A. McDonald of South Bend and Mary L. McDonald of Niles, MI; and brothers, Jack (Karen) McDonald of Granger, Richard J. (Jane Beitler) McDonald of Lafayette, CO, and Daniel C. McDonald of South Bend. Burial has taken place in Tewksbury Cemetery, Tewksbury, Massachusetts. A memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
