Curt Allen Foster, 36, of 1421 Berkshire, died at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Crenshaw County Hospital, Luverne, Ala. after becoming ill while vacationing with his wife and children.

Foster was the vice president and senior investment officer of the First Bank and Trust Co. He joined the bank on Jan. 13, 1964. Foster was a member of the YWCA board of trustees. He was a member of the board of Goodwill Industries, serving as treasurer, and a member of the board of directors of the Art Center, the finance committee of Grace Church, the Financial Analysts Society of Chicago, the Financial Analysts Foundation, the Summit Club and the Institute of Charter Financial Analysts.

He was born on Oct. 9, 1942, in South Bend. His wife, Michele A. Kleiser, whom he married Aug. 20, 1966, survives. Also surviving are his two sons, Bradley and Bryan, both at home, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Foster of South Bend.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Grace United Methodist Church with Rev. Philip Klinger, pastor, officiating. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home.

The Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
