LAURENS, S.C. - Mrs. Opal Fleck, 64, died Saturday, November 11th in her home.
She was born in South Bend, Indiana, and was a daughter of the late John Wesley and Anna Slocum Sullivan.
Mrs. Fleck was a member of the Woodruff Road Christian Church, the Rabon Estate Craft Club and a volunteer for several charities.
A devoted wife, mother and Nana, she is survived by her husband, Don Fleck of the home; a son, Don Fleck Jr. and wife, Susan; and grandson, Christopher Fleck and fiancé Katy Stewart; one daughter, Jennifer Copeland and husband, Billy; and grandchildren, Brittany, Michael and Ryan; two brothers, Bud Stoddard and Rose of Buffalo, OK, Ray Stoddard and Jessi of Mishawaka; five sisters, Norma Modlin and Gary of White Pigeon, MI, Ruth Belinski, Dee Ciesialka and Jane Temple, all of South Bend, and Lois Sumerville of Elkhart.
She was predeceased by a sister, Geri, and two brothers, Daniel and Pal.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 15th at 2 p.m. in Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka. Burial will be in Granger, IN, at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from noon until 2 p.m. in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Francis Hospice, 414 Pettigru Street, Greenville, SC 29601.
