SOUTH BEND - Mary Jo was called home to God after a prolonged illness. She was born and raised in South Bend and eventually moved to Florida where she managed the Elks Club in Homestead.
She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Ann Bukowski-Klimzak and Keith Klimzak; her son, Richard K. Schirm, and wife, Linda; one grandson, Alex Walczak; and five granddaughters, Chelsea, Maxshell, Mary, Coral and Madison.
A loving and caring mother and grandmother, she will be dearly missed.
