Fred Frank - Class Of 1961 VIEW PROFILE

Fred Frank

Fred passed away Saturday night December 11, 2010 at 11:00 p.m. I was in Cleveland for a Bar Mitsvah, with my family,  and when he took a turn for the worst at 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, his close friends (like family) Max and Amy Baim, friend Dave Kolesiak, Nephew Josh Silver and his girlfriend, Colin Pier were with Fred all day and after I returned. Fred fought the fight and waited for my return. He passed away minutes after I arrived.  He will be missed but is no longer in pain.

The funeral will be on Tuesday, December 14th, 2010 at McGann Hay, Forest G Hay Chapel 435 South Ironwood at Jefferson, South Bend, In. 46615

There is no visitation. I will be sitting Shiva Tuesday, Wedesday and Thursday at my brother, Bob's home, 1835 Ridgewood Circle, South Bend, In

The funeral will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday and also lunch after the service at Sinai.

Thank you all for the notes, prayers, etc. for the past 6 months! I really did appreciate it.

SOUTH BEND - Frederick "Fred" Frank, 67, passed away Saturday at 11:00 p.m. in Regency Place. In South Bend, on April 14, 1991, he married Maxine "Max" (Silver) Frank, who survives along with several cousins including locally, Marilyn Brown, Mel Brook, Babs (Mel) Waks, and a brother-in-law, Robert J. Silver, and two nephews, Ben Silver and Joshua Silver. Fred was a Merchandise Close Out Broker and was one of the original 25 people to set up at the Shipshewana Flea Market. He was the owner of Frank Sales in Roseland. Fred was a member of Sinai Synagogue and the Jewish Federation of St. Joseph Valley. He graduated from John Adams High School in the Class of 1961 and attended Purdue University. Funeral services will be held today at 1 p.m. in the McGann Hay, Forest G. Hay Chapel, 435 S. Ironwood at Jefferson, Rabbi Michael Friedland officiating. Burial will follow at Hebrew Orthodox Cemetery, Mishawaka.
