GRANGER - Judith M. Beck, 80, passed away in her home on July 5th, 2017. Judy was born January 10, 1937 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Joseph and Mae Locke. She was the beloved wife of Howard C Beck, who she adored and cherished. They were married on November 16, 1957. Howard survives. Along with being a devoted wife, she was an amazing mother to Greg (Pamela) and Pam (Alan). Her pride and Joy were her six Grandchildren! Zach, Blake (Kayla), Jane (Zach), Alex (Jeanne), Sam (Carly) and Riley. She loved spending time with them. Judy had three sisters, her twin, Janet (Pete) Taylor of Hamilton, OH, Kathy (Bob) Spears, Arkansas and Marilyn (Wayne) Sieron, Naples, Florida. Judy always enjoyed being with family and her many nieces and nephews.

Judy loved to entertain, whether it be at home or planning events for the church such as church picnics, thanksgiving dinners, sweetheart banquets.

In the late 70's she went to work for South Bend Community School Corporation in the food service department and retired after 20 years.

After retiring, Judy and Howard spent their winters in Naples, Florida. They both became involved in their church and Judy even volunteered with an after school program.

She will be remembered for her smile and her uplifting personality and her deep love for her Lord and Savior. She poured a lifetime of love into us and we will miss her deeply. We have to mention the outstanding help we received from Center for Hospice Care and Senior 1 Care, truly amazing caregivers that helped us through an incredibly difficult journey, and showed love to our wife and mom.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday July 10, 2017 in the Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Rd. Burial will follow in Harris Prairie Cemetery, Granger. Friends may visit with the family Sunday from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
