MARSHALL - Claudea was born on January 27, 1938, to the late Robert W. and Dorathea C. (Cajkowski) Hemphill in Bessemer, Michigan. She was a 1957 graduate of John Adams High School in South Bend. On May 6, 1966, Claudea wed Samuel M. Templeton at a ceremony in St. Joseph County, South Bend, Indiana. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, traveling and going on grand adventures. After being introduced to holistic health, Claudea finally found her true calling. She has spent the last twenty years helping others as a holistic health healer.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her beloved daughter, Rose Anna Templeton.

Claudea is survived by her children, Vera (Mark) Lautzenheiser of Marshall, Michigan and Esther (Michael) Giles of Anchorage, Alaska; along with six grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life party to honor Claudea's life will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017, at Fredonia Township Hall, 8803 US Hwy. 27, Marshall, MI, at 11:00 AM.

A private burial will be held at a later date. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Battle Creek, MI.

Memorial contributions may be made in Claudea's memory to the American Diabetes Association.
