John A. Troeger

John passed away on February 8, 2014 at the age of 65. A 1970 graduate of the
University of Notre Dame, he retired as a co-owner of Troeger Sheet Metal. He was
serving as the St. Joseph High School Golf Coach for both the girls and boys teams.
John was a former member of the Morris Park Country Club and also a member of the
Sorin Society at the University of Notre Dame. (Taken in part from the South Bend

SOUTH BEND - John Andrew Troeger, 65, of South Bend died unexpectedly Saturday, February 8 in his residence.
John was born May 20, 1948 in South Bend to the late Ellen M. (Kocsis) and Andrew C. Troeger and was a lifetime area resident.
He is survived by his son, Andrew J. Troeger of Albuquerque, NM; and his sister, Sandra Kessler (Kendall) of Powell, OH.
John graduated from John Adams High School in 1966 and was a 1970 graduate of the University of Notre Dame.
He retired as a co-owner of Troeger Sheet Metal. He recently was serving as the St. Joseph High School Golf Coach for both the girls and boys teams. He was a former member of Morris Park Country Club and served a term as president in 1986. He was also a member of the Sorin Society of the University of Notre Dame.
