John Wallace

John Wallace passed away on July 20, 2012. He attended Miami Dade College and
Indiana University-South Bend. A member of the U.S. Army Reserves for six years, he
then became the founder of Wallace Homes, Inc., supervising land developments,
namely Wild Wing Plantation. John loved to play golf, and he was an accomplished
player at the Morris Park Country Club, winning several tournaments. (Taken in part

SOUTH BEND - John Louis Wallace, 64, died Friday.
He is survived by his wife, Sue; and daughter, Emily Wallace; brothers, Michael and Kerry Wallace, and James and Maeve Wallace; sister-in-law, Mary Jo and Dan Bezi, and Joan Wallace.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 25, in Saint Anthony De Padua Catholic Church, with Rev. Daniel Scheidt officiating.
Cremation will follow services. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today in the Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road.
