Donna J. Humes, 66, of Mishawaka, passed away on April 4, 2011 at Regency Place of South Bend. Donna was born on July 24, 1944, in Mishawaka to Clara T. Coffelt who survives and the late James E. Coffelt. Donna is also survived by Larry R. Humes, her loving husband of 17 years and her two sisters, Kathleen A. Mortimore of South Bend and Christine L. Canarecci (Frank) of North Liberty. In May of 1964 Donna married Roger Miller (deceased) and together they had 3 children, Deborah Miller, Cheryl Miller-Wright (Kirk) and Mark Miller (Stephanie)all from the Indianapolis area. Donna was blessed with 7 grandchildren, Christine King, Brock Edwards, Brandy Miller, Jacob Wright, Brandon Wright, Aaron Wright and Jesse Miller. She also has one great-granddaughter, Skylar King as well as seven nephews and four nieces. Donna adored all her children and grandchildren and loved them dearly.

Donna graduated in 1963 from John Adams High School in South Bend and retired from Century Center in 2006.

"We know in our hearts, we will feel the warmth, as you look down upon us, with God, and with a smile. The love that we feel, as we always feel for you, will fill the void in our hearts. We know you loved us all greatly, and even though today is the day God took you; your love will always remain."

Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at the Palmer Funeral Home-River Park located at 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend, Indiana and from Noon - 1:00 PM Thursday. The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Thursday at Palmer Funeral Home with the burial following the service at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
