SOUTH BEND - Michael Goss, 67, of South Bend, passed away Saturday, 11/24/2012, at Hospice Home. He was born on 11/30/1944 to John and Aletha (Stuckey) Goss.
Surviving are Cristina (wife) and two beloved daughters, Gabriella and Elizabeth. Mike was a longtime employee of the South Bend Tribune for over 38 years where he worked with great devotion and never met a stranger in developing new business along with his second family of Tribune employees. He had a way of working with others that showed much compassion and kindness along with his calming nature and undeniable humor. He adored his family first and delighted in showing off their latest accomplishments and photos throughout the office.
He will be greatly missed by many; a trusted friend and an encouraging spirit, which played out every year in downtown Niles as their Santa Claus...it only seems fitting this holiday season that he might be busy in heaven getting ready for the big day....so, thank you Mike for sharing the essence of Christmas and your strong faith with us; many were blessed to have known you!
Visitation will be at Little Flower Church on Ironwood Dr., South Bend, IN on Saturday at 10 am, and Memorial Services will be at 11 am. P.S. GONE FISHING!
