MISHAWAKA - Linda K. Johnson, 69, passed away at 4:46am Sunday, February 12, 2017 in Hospice House.

Linda was born on December 30, 1947 in South Bend to William and MaryAlice (Swain) Hupp. She graduated from Adams High School and retired from the Department of Family Services, was a member of St. Bavo Catholic Church and the Loyal Order of Moose in Dowagiac, a former member of St. Matthew Cathedral and loved to play Bingo and go to the casino.

Surviving are her mother, MaryAlice Hupp of South Bend, 2 daughters, Lana Cleary of Granger and Brianne (Matt) Butler of Fishers, IN, a son, Christopher “CJ” (Christie) Hawkins of South Bend; 3 grandchildren, Paige, Brody, and Jack, a sister, Deborah (Tim) Mathis of Decauter, MI and 2 brothers, Larry (Gale) Hupp of Mishawaka and Tom (Jennifer) Hupp of South Bend.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am Wednesday, February 15, 2017 in St. Bavo Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends may visit from 4-8 Tuesday in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue where a Rosary will be recited at 4:30pm.
