Beverlee Jean Watkins

April 18, 1946 - July 6, 1999

 

Beverlee Jean (Madison) Watkins, 53, of Indianapolis, Ind., passed away on Tuesday, July 6, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, Miss. Beverlee was born on April 18, 1946, to William H. and Barbara (McFarlane) Madison. She was a legal secretary for the law firm of Henderson, Daily, Withrow and DeVoe in Indianapolis.

She is survived by her former husband, Carey Watkins; a sister, Barbara A. Madison of South Bend; three brothers, Brian E. (Nancy) Madison of Edwardsburg, Mich.; Bill (Cheryl) Madison of South Bend, and Bradley J. Madison of South Bend; six nephews, Brian E., Billy, Nicholas Tracy, Michael F., Andrew and Montana Madison; and by a niece, Brittany Marie Madison. Beverlee is also survived by her two cats, T.C. Fabio and Shadow.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, with burial to follow in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, Ind. Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday in the Kaniewski Funeral Home.

Beverlee was a member of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in Indianapolis and the American Business Women's Association of Indianapolis.
