Debra Jean Van Durmen

MISHAWAKA - Debra Jean Van Durmen, 64, passed away from an extended illness comforted by family and many friends to the very end.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alexander and Jane Kleva (Sult), formerly of South Bend.
She is survived by her two sons, Michael A. Van Durmen of Mishawaka and Craig A. (Jennifer) Van Durmen of Evanston, IL. She leaves two wonderful grandchildren, Avery Kleinert-Van Durmen of Mishawaka and Alexander Julian Van Durmen of Evanston. She was comforted by her two loving sisters, Marilyn Maciejewski of Peru, IN, and Sharon (Tom) Bennett of South Bend.
Debbie worked for Crowe-Chizek and later Crowe Horwath LLP for 32 years, and considered her colleagues as family. Debbie was a member of DeAmicis Women's Auxiliary and spent countless hours with the ladies that she loved. She leaves behind in-laws, cousins, nephews and nieces.
If you knew Debra as a friend, you were considered family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 15th from 3 to 6 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka.
