Adams 1949 Robert Rice:

12/21/1931 - 5/28/2016 Mattawan Robert Rice, age 84, of Mattawan died on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at his home. Bob was born on December 21, 1931 in South Bend Indiana where he grew up and graduated from Adams High School. Bob was proud to have served with the USMC during the Korean war and he retired from the GM Fisher Body Plant in Comstock Twp. On September 19, 1954 he married Barbara Myers and together they raised their 3 children in a loving and caring home. Services for Bob will be held at 2 pm on Thursday at the Faith Baptist Church, 56070 Murray St, Mattawan. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Members of his family include his wife Barbara, 3 children: Pam (Rick) Goldwater, Janet (Dean) LaVere and Jeff (Kris) Rice, 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother Paul and sister Carol and a great grandchild Dylan.
