SOUTH BEND - Mikel S. Wenslow, 43, of New York City, formerly of South Bend, died Friday in St. Vincent Hospital, New York City, after an illness.
Mr. Wenslow was a visual marketing manager for J.P. Stevens Co., New York City. He was born Oct. 10, 1951, in South Bend, and moved to New York City in 1982.
Surviving are his mother, Ruth Wenslow of South Bend; two sisters, Bonnie Lawton of Granger and Cheryl Howland of Bowie, Md.; a niece and four nephews.
He was a graduate of John Adams High School and attended Indiana University South Bend.
Memorial services will be at a later date. There will be no visitation. Cremation will take place. Kaniewski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Society of St. Joseph County.
