Allen P. Davis, 49, of Ft. Wayne passed away Sunday, June 24, 2012. Allen was born September 9, 1962 in Saginaw, MI. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Valparaiso University. While there, he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity; played soccer; and met his wife of 25 years, Sheri. Allen loved spending time with his family, cooking, going to movies and watching sports. He was a University of Michigan, Lions and Tigers Fan. He also had coached soccer at Woodside and Summit Middle School. He is survived by his wife; daughters, Kelsey Eileen and Megan Allyn Davis; parents, James and Patricia Davis of South Bend, IN; and sisters, Joy (Mike) Overstreet of Mankato, MN, Jill (Gerald) Keyes of Zionsville, IN and Julie (Claude) Taylor of Granger, IN. Funeral service is 10 am, Thursday, June 28, 2012 at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Rd with calling one hour prior to service. Calling also from 2-5 and 7-9 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the National Kidney Foundation.
