Gerry was born March 13, 1926, in South Bend. She was the only child of Lula and Lester Pinkerton. She graduated from John Adams High School in 1945. She was a collector of Cabbage Patch dolls and Boyd's Bears. She loved roller skating and showing off her skating skills in her teen years at Playland Roller Rink. She spent many years square dancing with her husband Earl as well. Gerry loved her two cats and they were lucky to be rescued by her. In 1946, Gerry married Arthur Keltz. In 1966, she married Earl Reidenbach. She was a devoted mother of four children: Sharon (Jim) Dickey, Dennis (Paige) Keltz, Brian Keltz, and Curtiss Keltz. Three step-children, Brenda Reidenbach, Brian Reidenbach, and Bruce (Kathy) Reidenbach. Gerry had twelve grandchildren, many more loving great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson, who blessed the family with five generations who all lovingly called her “Gigi.” Gerry was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Arthur Keltz in 1979 and Earl Reidenbach in 1993; her son, Brian Keltz; and a granddaughter, Jami Dickey-Jones. Family and friends will be received on Friday, April 28, 2017, from 12:30-2:30 PM at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, IN 46561, with a private service and interment following for the family.
