Michael “Mike” John Morrison Oct. 18, 1957 - Sept. 20, 2017 SOUTH BEND - Michael (“Mike”) John Morrison, 59, passed from this world on Wednesday, September 20, 2017. He was born on October 18, 1957 to Richard and Margaret (Mellea) Morrison in South Bend, Indiana, where Mike later attended and graduated from John Adams High School. Mike's love of the outdoors found him moving to Sebastian, Florida and was employed with Piper Aircraft in Vero Beach, Florida for several years. Mike is survived by his brother, Kevin (Lisa), nephew, Steven (Meghan), niece, Kristin Ford (O'Dell), great-niece and great-nephews, Megan, Simon and Josiah. Mike is also survived by his loving and devoted companion of 28 years, Ron Murphy. Mike was a very thoughtful and warm-hearted man. He was always looking for ways to help someone and had a smile that would light up a room. Mike loved the outdoors, being by the water and was a tradesman with woodworking and building, and had skills in many trades.
