SOUTH BEND, IN - Arvester Devon Fleming, 22, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 6:13 p.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend, IN.

Arvester was born May 31, 1996 to David Allen and Gwendolyn Scales Fleming, Sr., in South Bend, IN. He graduated from John Adams High School and attended Ivy Tech. He worked for Lippert Component. He attended Pentecostal Cathedral and his aspiration was to be a rapper.

Arvester was preceded in death by his grandfather, Arvester Fleming, Jr.

Survivors include his parents, David Allen Fleming, Sr. and Gwendolyn Scales; one daughter, Bella Fleming; five sisters, Chantel Scales of Indianapolis, IN, Jasmine Bolden, Tatyanna Fleming, and Alexis Scales all of South Bend, IN, and Ashley Fleming of Orlando, FL; one brother, David Fleming, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Johnny and Gladys Scales, along with other relatives and friends.

Services will be held at Pentecostal Cathedral Church of God in Christ on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., with viewing from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
