Wilma Ann Stewart (Frazier)

Wilma A. Frazier, 75, passed away peacefully at Memorial Hospital in South Bend on December 18, 2017 at 4:15 am. Wilma was born in South Bend to the union of the late Benjamin V. and Willie Mae (Oliver) Stewart.

Wilma received her formal education from John Adams High School, later moving to Chicago, where she lived for 40+ years.  While living in Illinois, she worked as a secretary for a very large law firm. After retirement, Wilma decide to relocate back to Indiana. Wilma was a very talented piano player, playing for her church and different organizations. Wilma was very family-oriented and loved to keep in contact with her friends over the phone. She also enjoyed playing (and winning) her favorite card game “Bridge” and loved home shopping.  

Wilma is survived by her three loving and caring nieces: Jaquelynn Hunt of South Bend, Karen Jenkins of South Bend and Deborah Mallard of South Bend, along with four nephews: Robert Stewart of South Bend, William Stewart Jr. of South Bend, Michael Stewart of Elkhart and Brett Stewart of Chicago, IL.  Wilma also leaves to cherish her memory a brother, Benjamin V. (Mary) Stewart Jr., of New Jersey.  She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, William Stewart Sr. and Paul Stewart.

Per Wilma’s wishes, no services are currently scheduled. Palmer Funeral Homes – West Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
