Sandra K. (Montague) Buie

Sandra K. Buie, residing in Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away Monday, January 31, 2022. Sandra was born on September 23, 1940 in Plymouth, Indiana to the late Ward Eugene Montague and Vivian Ruth (Montgomery) Montague and was raised in South Bend, Indiana.

Sandra is survived by her son, Michael Buie; four grandchildren Darla, Sandra, Phillip and William; numerous great grandchildren; her sister Judith (Archie) Buie of Shreveport, Louisiana; and two brothers, Terry (Sue) Montague of Elkhart, Indiana and Ronnie (Sharon) Montague of Shepherdsville, Kentucky; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis R. Montague.

Sandra spent her life working in the ministry for the Lord.  She kept the Faith and showed great strength and endurance until the end of life.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Palmer Funeral Home – River Park Chapel, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, IN.  Burial will follow in Sandridge Cemetery, Bourbon, Indiana.  Online condolences may be shared with Sandra’s family at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com.
