Joyce Ann Papp Clements
1940 - 2005
A native of South Bend, Joyce Papp Clements, died Saturday, Jan. 29, in a hospital in her hometown of Roswell, Ga., after a long illness. She was 65.
Born to the late James and Anne Papp, Mrs. Clements attended John Adams High School and graduated from the Methodist Hospital School of Nursing in Gary, Ind. She was as an RN at three hospitals in Indiana and New York before moving to Georgia in 1974, where she worked in medical offices and a nursing home.
The body was cremated.
Survivors include her husband, George Clements; one daughter, Annie Clements; three sons, David, Paul and James, all of Georgia; two brothers, Kenneth Papp of Louisville, Ky., and James Papp of Buchanan, Mich.; and seven grandchildren.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Atlanta Day Shelter for Women and Children, 655 Ethel Street, Atlanta, GA 30318.
Northside Chapel Funeral Directors, Roswell, Ga., handled arrangements.
