Yvonne Kay Hedrick

Yvonne K. Hedrick, 65, of Larch Way, South Bend, IN, passed away on December 8, 2004, at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Sarasota, Florida. She retired in 1995 from Ameritech-SBC following 24 years of service and worked part-time at L. S. Ayres. She was born on July 23, 1939, in South Bend, IN to Robert M. and Florence (Evans) Hutchins and was a life-long resident.
Yvonne is survived by two sisters, Joyce A. (Kenneth) Powell of Arcadia, FL and Frances J. Hurd of South Bend; one brother, M. Dean Hutchins of South Bend; three step-daughters, Sharon (Joseph) Lippert of Mesa, AZ, Patricia (Christopher) Crain of Jasper, IN, and Julie Hedrick of South Bend; three step-sons, Robert Hedrick and James Hedrick both of South Bend and Steven (Mara) Hedrick of Seligman, Missouri; eight step-grandchildren; five nieces; and six nephews.
Yvonne was a member of River Park United Methodist Church and of the Julia Circle; Pioneers Club of SBC; L. S. Ayres Airheads; and Red Hat Society. She graduated from John Adams High School, Class of 1957.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2004, at Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend. Rev. Kathy Miller, pastor of River Park United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. The family will receive friends from 5:00 -- 8:00 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
