James Arthur Rosebrook, 66, of Granger and lifelong area resident, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2005 in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend.

He was born on December 29, 1938, in Mishawaka, to Darwin and Anita (VanTilbury) Rosebrook. On December 24, 1957, in South Bend, he married Agnes Vaerewyck. James was the owner of Information & Records Association, Inc. in South Bend. He was the past president of NRA. He loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting was a favorite past time for him. James also had a love for horses. When he was a kid, he would offer to clean stables just so he could be around horses.

James is survived by his loving family; his wife of 47 years, Agnes Rosebrook of Granger; mother, Anita Rosebrook of Granger; five daughters, Christina Templin and husband, Brian of Holt, Michigan, Kathy Rosebrook and her partner, Anita Nash of Mishawaka, Michele Reynolds and her husband, Dan of Vandalia, Michigan, Monique Vargo of New Carlisle, Indiana, and Kimberly Kinney and her husband, Doug of Niles, Michigan; nine grandchildren, Taylor Viele and her husband, Kyle, Zachary, Alexandra and Isaac Templin, Sawyer and Molly Kinney, Samantha and Max Gorton and Joseph Vargo.

James was preceded in death by his father, Darwin Rosebrook.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 3, 2005 in the Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road, South Bend. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the start of services. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger.
