Robert worked for many years as an auto mechanic at McKinley Frame and Front End in Mishawaka, followed by many years of employment with Hyline Industries in Elkhart.

He spent the past 15 years operating his own home construction and remodeling business R2V2 Services. Robert enjoyed his love of home remodel, repair, building, and sharing his immense knowledge of this trade. This knowledge he has proudly passed on to his sons. Battling cancer, Robert enjoyed his last months sharing the lives and accomplishments of his children and grandchildren with all who came to visit. His last days were spent completely surrounded by his family and dearest friends.
