Robert Lamon Clark

Robert Lamon Clark, 54, passed away on Tuesday evening, March 22, 2022 at his residence in South Bend, Indiana. He was born to the parents, Robert T. and Shirley T. (Payton) Clark on July 30, 1967 in South Bend, Indiana. He was their firstborn child.

Robert graduated from John Adams High School. His love of football granted him merits as well as a scholarship to attend several colleges, where he also received his associate degree in Oklahoma. After completion, he moved to Lansing, Michigan, to continue his football career at Michigan State University.

Robert professed his life to Christ at an early age and joined Lake Chapel Primitive Baptist Church, under the pastorship of Elder Christopher Rogers.

Robert was blessed with one child, Malik Robert Geiger. Robert’s passion was working in real estate, accompanied by his grandfather, Elder Carey Payton. He also had a love for his dog dynasty. Robert was well respected by all who knew him; he would settle for nothing less.

The family will miss our hero, but as long as there is still one family member, his legacy will live on.

Funeral services for Robert will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Lake Chapel Primitive Baptist Church, 202 S. Lake Street, South Bend, IN. Pastor Christopher Rodgers will officiate.
