DOROTHY ROUTT OBITUARY

Dorothy Routt passed away at the age of 84. She was a resident of Rancho Bernardo in San Diego, California, for the past twenty-five years. Born in South Bend, Indiana, on June 13, 1924, she graduated from Purdue University and was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.

She was artistically talented and painted in watercolors and acrylics. She was a docent at the Tucson Art Museum for many years.

An avid world traveler, Dorothy and her husband visited over sixty-five countries during the past thirty years.

She is survived by her husband, Don; her son, Gary and his wife, Holland Kensington Routt; her granddaughter, Jennifer; her grandson, Zach; her son, Gregory and his wife, Kristie Kujawski; and her son, Russell and his wife, Jane. She is also survived by her sister, Frances Miller of Rancho Bernardo; her brother, William Bickel of South Bend, Indiana; her cousin, Jim Martin of Tucson, Arizona; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Janet Beker of Rancho Bernardo.

At her request, no services are planned and her ashes will be lovingly scattered at sea.
