Robert W. Molnar

Robert W. Molnar, 38, formerly of Mishawaka, died Friday at the El Rio Motel, Glendale, Calif., where he had been living for the last six weeks. Los Angeles County Medical Examiner and Coroner’s Office chief investigator Dan Backer reported death resulting from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
A draftsman, he was born in South Bend on Aug. 11, 1940.
Surviving are a daughter, Miss Michelle Molnar of South Bend; two brothers, Louis Jr. of South Bend and Michael J. of Mishawaka; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Hanson of Stafford Springs, Conn., and Mrs. James Johnson of Elkhart, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Molnar Sr.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel. Rev. Melvin Herber, assistant pastor of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, will officiate, and burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel.
