Beverly Kay Twigg (Kennedy) - Class Of 1958 VIEW PROFILE

Beverly Kay Twigg (Kennedy)

BEVERLY TWIGG KENNEDY

Beloved wife, mother and mamina to her grandchildren, passed away unexpectedly in Los Angeles on November 8, 2002. A resident of California for the past 20 years, she was born in 1940 in South Bend, Indiana. After graduating from John Adams High School in 1958, she began a distinguished scholastic career that took her to Purdue University, Wayne State University and the Detroit College of Law, where she earned a Doctorate in 1979. It was the springboard to a remarkable career-one that included an assistantship with the Governor of Michigan, a position as legal counsel for the SEC, a Vice Presidency at Freddie Mac and most recently, an Executive Consultancy with the financial firm Paymap. She used her time and talent to raise funds for the Arthritis Foundation. Her professional accomplishments were more than matched by her unique devotion to the joy of life itself. An avid outdoors woman, she delighted in skiing, golfing and horseback riding. At social gatherings, she was quick with a feisty joke, a hearty laugh and when one was needed, a warn and sympathetic shoulder. But her greatest passion was reserved for her friends and family. She relentlessly devoted her time to those she loved and never failed to put their needs before her own. She devoted a great deal of time to the Arthritis Foundation. Both a rock and an inspiration, she will be greatly missed by those who loved her. Beverly is survived by her husband Dr. Jerrold A. Kram; daughter, Stacy Lynn and Jill Marie; their father, Fred Osman; stepchildren, Rachel Dena and David Kram and grandchildren, Samantha, Benjamin and Noah. Memorial Mass will be held at St. Monica's Church in Santa Monica Friday, November 15th at 1 p.m. Reception immediately following. St. Monica's Church, 701 California Avenue, Santa Monica, CA 90403. The family will be receiving condolence visitors on Sunday, November 17th from 2-7 p.m. at 12363 Skyline Blvd., Oakland, CA. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to The Arthritis Foundation Valley Branch, 16633 Ventura Blvd., Ste. #550, Encino, CA 91436
