Charles (Chuck) H. Bidlack

Charles (Chuck) H. Bidlack, 61, of South Bend, IN passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022. Chuck was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. Chuck was born in South Bend on September 17, 1961, to the late Richard and Dorothy (Van de Walle) Bidlack.

He attended John Adams High School where he met and married his high school sweetheart, Dawn Buzalski, on October 16, 1982.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Dawn; daughter, Ashley Gilbert of Mishawaka; and son, Travis Bidlack of South Bend; 3 amazing grandchildren, Brendan Matthew, Mattie Lynne and Landen James, the Beacons of Light that kept him smiling and laughing. He is also survived by his brothers, John Bidlack, Timothy (Naomi) Bidlack and William (Lisa) Bidlack. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Phillip Bidlack; and a sister, Jane (Bidlack) Hochstetler.

Chuck was a sports enthusiast and a huge Notre Dame fan. He loved fishing, swimming, and spending time with his family. He was hard working and loved a good joke.

The family will receive friends from 9 am-11 am on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, IN. A funeral service will begin at 11 am at the funeral home with Pastor Dan Puckett officiating.
