In Memory

Robert Lynn Miller - Class Of 1975

Robert Lynn Miller

Robert “Bob” Miller, 65, of South Bend, IN passed away unexpectedly on January 25, 2023. He was born October 22, 1957 in Elmira, NY to Carl and Jose. Bob moved from New York to Ohio, but ultimately found his home in South Bend, IN. While attending John Adam’s High School, Bob joined the work field working with his father and brother Mike at KAP Inc., and then worked at PTL Tire Shop. Bob then found his life-long career as a postal worker for the USPS where he worked for 30 years.

Bob leaves behind his wife, Elizabeth Ann (Pulaski) Miller after almost 30 years of marriage. Together they raised six children: Jason Miller, Robert Rist, Jennifer Uline, Stephanie Miller, Jonathan Miller, and Kelilyn Miller. Also surviving Bob is his brother, James (Sandy) Binkley of Phoenix, AZ. and six grandchildren: Camden, Elijah, Landyn, Natalia, Oliver, and Harper. Preceding him in death are his parents and three brothers: Carl, John, and Michael Miller.

If you asked Bob what his greatest accomplishments were, he would not say his career or his delicious cooking skills, he would say it was his family. He loved his family wholeheartedly and told them with every visit or conversation how much he loved them. He enjoyed talking to others about his family and overall enjoyed just talking. He never knew a stranger. He was so caring, kind and always thinking of others. Bob had such a contagious laugh and a smile that would light up a room. He loved being outdoors with his family cooking out, playing golf, having bonfires, and playing at the park with his grandchildren. Bob was a great man and will forever be missed. The world will never be the same.

A celebration of life will be held Friday February 3, 2023, from 4:00pm-7:00pm at The Hall at St. Peters 915 N. Ironwood Dr. South Bend, IN 46615.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be left to The Miller Family with deliveries being accepted after 10:00a.m. on February 3, 2023, at The Hall at St. Peters.
