Mary Helen Sack Ruff

SOUTH BEND - Mary H. Ruff, 37, of 502 S. 23rd St., died about 6 a.m. Monday at her home. Death was self-inflicted, according to Dr. Michael O'Connell, deputy county coroner. Mrs. Ruff was born Nov. 30, 1956, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.
In 1981, in Cape Cod, Mass., as Mary H. Sack, she married Kirk A. Ruff Sr. He survives with a son, Kirk A. Jr. at home; her parents, Marjorie and Winston Sack of South Bend; and a sister, Catherine VanNatta of Watseka, Ill.
Graveside services and burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Highland Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Hollis-Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
