July 9, 1956 – April 5, 2022

South Bend-Stuart W. Dolde, age 65, passed away at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center on April 5, 2022.

Stuart was born in South Bend on July 9, 1956, to William F. and Ruth E. Dolde. He was preceded in death by his parents. Stu is survived by his sister, Anne Johnson.  

After graduating from Adams High School, degrees were earned at Ball State University, (B.S. Architecture) and The University of Illinois, (M.S. Architecture and M.B.A.Finance). He practiced as a registered architect and construction manager for 20 years. He retired from the Meijer Company in 2018, where he enjoyed his customers and co-workers.

Stu loved speaking foreign languages and studying other cultures. He was a world traveler, having visited over 70 countries. Stu loved to fly and while in college was a licensed FAA private pilot. He also enjoyed listening to music on vinyl.

Gifted with gentle kindness and generosity, he was a true and loyal friend.
