March 26, 1980 - March 9, 2007
SOUTH BEND - David Matthew Kubsch, 26, of Valparaiso, IN, formerly of South Bend, passed away Friday evening, March 9, in Munster, IN, as the result of an airplane accident. David was born on March 26, 1980, in Hinesville, GA.

Surviving are David's father, Kevin Joseph (Judy) Kubsch; his mother, Holly Joan Kubsch (Edward Denno Sr.); sister, Sarah Anne Kubsch of South Bend; and fiancée, Trisha Brazelton, and "Little Louie" of Valparaiso, IN. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Melvin Hollis and Miriam Joan Fowler of Hinesville, GA, and Lawrence Kubsch and Cecil Singleton; and an uncle, Thomas George Kubsch of South Bend.

He is also survived by his grandmother, Phyllis Ann Kubsch Singleton of South Bend; aunt and uncles, Barbara Jane (retired Sgt. 1st Class David) Dismukes of Opelika, AL, Christian David (Linda) Fowler of Tiffin, OH, Lawrence Kubsch (Geneva Wadkins) of South Bend and Stephen John (Karen) Kubsch of Granger; cousins, Miriam Jessica Roman of Sierra Vista, AZ, Spc. Gilberto Antonio Roman of Fort Polk, LA, Tammy Radad, Tiffany and Thomas Kubsch of South Bend, Zackary, Tyler, Colin and Alexandra of Granger; and numerous other extended family and many friends and loved ones. We all love you and miss you!

David graduated from Adams High School in South Bend where he played baseball and football, and earned a bachelor of science degree in aviation from Indiana State University in June 2006. He was employed as a pilot with Chicago Business Air, Lansing, IL, and was a member of the South Bend Odd Fellows and St. Joseph Valley U.S.B.C. Association.

David was an avid golfer, baseball player, a diehard Notre Dame, Chicago Bears and White Sox fan.

Friends are calling today, March 13, from 2 to 8 p.m. in McGann Hay, Granger Chapel, 13260 SR 23 and Cherry Road, Granger, IN (enter off Cherry Road), where services will be held on Wednesday, March 14, at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at the St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park Cemetery, Granger, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to Little Flower Catholic Church, 54191 N. Ironwood, South Bend, IN 46635.
