SOUTH BEND - Frederick “Rick” Yazich, 51, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2016 in his residence.
Frederick was born on January 29, 1965 in South Bend to Frederick and Virginia (Arney) Yazich. He was the owner of Yazich Insurance Agency and also managed rental properties. Rick enjoyed time with his many friends, going to his lake cottage to fish and saw the good in all people. But most of all he was a devoted son who cared for his mother.
Survivors include his cousins Julie Kubat of South Bend Mara (Jon) Vertress of Ft. Myers, FL, Dawn (Dave) Moffett of Mishawaka, Mandy Bujecker of South Bend William (Marie) Manczunski of South Bend and Millie (Dimitri) Vasiliades of CO.
Rick was preceded in death by his aunts and uncles, Zora & Milos Kubat, Julia & Lucky Manczunski, Louis & Sophie Yazich and Harry Arney
Funeral service will be celebrated at 9:00am Saturday, December 10, 2016 in Sts. Peter and Paul Serbian Orthodox Church. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 6-8 Friday in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue. Memorial contributions may be made to Sts. Peter & Paul Serbian Orthodox Church.
