Tiffany McDonald

Tiffany Kay McDonald

December 15, 1985 ~ June 12, 2020 (age 34)

Ms. Tiffany Kay McDonald, 34, of South Bend, Indiana, affectionately known as TK, was born on December 15, 1985 in South Bend to the union of Duane and Diane McDonald. She went home to be with the Lord on the morning of Friday, June 12, 2020 at Hospice House of St. Joseph County; her loving family was by her side.

Tiffany graduated from John Adams High School in 2004 and attended Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, where she was studying to be a nurse practitioner. She had a compassion for helping others and worked as a residential support tech at a facility for developmentally challenged adults. She was the mother of two beautiful children, Eric and Za’Nya. Tiffany was known for bringing joy to any situation. When she walked into a room no matter what mood you were in she always made it better. She lovingly shouted “TK in the house.” She would dance just because. She was giving and she made sure you got it if she had it. She would give you her last dollar and she always made sure you ate. No matter where she went, she made sure she had a bottle of tabasco sauce in her purse.

Tiffany leaves to cherish many fond and loving memories, her two heartbeats, Eric Jackson and Za’Nya Weldon; her parents, Duane and Diane McDonald; three sisters, Dylisha and Jasmine McDonald, both of South Bend and Angel McDonald of Houston, Texas; one brother, Jordan McDonald; two special sisters, Cassidy (and Terrence) Reid and Makeda Howard, all of South Bend; paternal grandparents Henry “Smitty” and Barbara Smith of Lawrence, Michigan; maternal grandparents Leola (and Tommy) Melton of Detroit; five aunts: Lisa Hamilton and Laura Murray, both of South Bend;  Pamela Jones of Joliet, Illinois and  Salena Harris of Detroit and Zanovia (Jose) Toledo of Spring Hills, Florida; three uncles: Bobby Murray of Detroit; Randy Sylvia of Joliet and Vincent (Rossano) McDonald of South Bend; three close cousins: Jasmine (Dajour) Thomas, Kenya Hamilton of South Bend and Brianna Harris of Detroit; close friends Nakea (Teron) Reid, Kellie Porter and Tempestt Jackson along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Tiffany was greeted on the other side by maternal great grandparents, Chaney and Harvey Murray; maternal grandfather, Joseph Murray;  paternal great grandparents, Buck and Myrtle Sylvia; Julies and Daisy McDonald and paternal grandfather, Bernard “Dewitt” Sylvia and 1 uncle, Dennis Hamilton.

Tiffany’s life touched many in ways that you didn’t expect. Her warm and bubbly smile and loving and genuine personality will remain with her memory in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
