She was born October 3, 1935, to Leon and Edith Hhaftick in South Bend, IN.. She graduated from John Adams high school in 1953.  She retired from Miller Insurance in Bremen, IN.

Shirley is survived by a son ?Thomas (Lisa) Latimer: and grandchildren. Alicia and lovia Latimer, all of Granger, IN.

GRANGER- Shirley B. Paxton, 77, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, May 5, 2013, after a long illness.

She was born October 3, 1935 to Leon and Edith Shaftick in South Bend, IN.
She graduated from Adams High School in 1953. She retired from Miller Insurance in Bremen, IN. Shirley is survived by a son, Thomas (Lisa) Latimer; and grandchildren, Alicia and Olivia Latimer, all of Granger, IN.

A sister, Kathy (Roland) Jerue of California is also surviving.

Cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 14th at 11am at the Church of the Brethren, Bremen, where she had been a member.
