Thomas Dee Addison

Thomas Dee Addison, 88 years old, passed away with his daughter by his side at 3:45 pm on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at his home in South Bend. Thomas was born on September 28, 1934, in South Bend to the late William Donald Addison and Marie E. (Cowen) Addison.

On February 6, 1954, in South Bend, Thomas married the love of his life, Rosemary (Schubert) Addison. The two were married for 66 wonderful years.

Thomas is survived by his daughter, Tami Glenn of South Bend, two grandchildren, Chad (Jen) Morrison of Granger, Carly (Raun) Hampe of Valdosta, GA, and seven great- grandchildren Rachel Morrison, Lexie Brown, Dylan Brown, Gianna Brown, Kassandra Morrison, Eva Morrison, and Watt Hampe. Thomas was preceded in death by his loving wife, two daughters, Vicki Addison and Lisa Morrison, and sister, Alberta Rush.

Thomas served in the Indiana National Guard for 11 years. He also worked at South Bend Supply Co. as the manager in the sheet metal department for 33 years. Upon retirement, he worked at Valley Equipment for 8 years as well. Thomas lived his entire life as a resident of South Bend. Thomas worked hard, but took the time to enjoy his life. He enjoyed traveling and partaking in new adventures with his wife, playing golf, fishing, and meeting good friends for breakfast.

Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the Addison family with arrangements. There will be no services at this time.
