GRANGER - Marilyn H. Love, 82, of Granger, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017 in Memorial Hospital. Marilyn was born October 5, 1934 in South Bend, to the late Mary (Corson) and Robert C. DeLong. On July 7, 1956 in Mishawaka, Marilyn married James Love who survives. Also surviving is a daughter, Mari Linn (Wayne) Wise of Granger, four sons, Charles Love of Phoenix, Arizona, David Love of Mishawaka, Randy (Tonya) Love, of Mishawaka, and Cory (Charity) Love of Jefferson City, Georgia, nine grandchildren, sister, Lynne (Paul) DeLong of Lakeland, Florida, and brother, Bill (Mary) Waterson, of Mishawaka.
After her husband's retirement, Marilyn and James traveled overseas to France, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Austria, and cruised to Alaska. Most recently, she could be found shopping and dining around town. Marilyn loved animals, often adopting neighborhood cats as her own.
Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. Sunday, July 16th, at Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 17th at the funeral home, with Rev. Jane Aicher officiating. Private burial will follow at Saint Joseph Valley Memorial Park Cemetery, Granger.
