Ronald K "Ron" Rosensweet passed peacefully away on January 7, 2023, with his daughter, Debra, at his side. Ron was born in South Bend, Indiana, on September 26, 1932 to Joe and Diane Rosensweet. They eventually moved to Evanston, IL in 1952 and then to Wilmette, IL in 1956. Ron graduated from John Adams High School in South Bend in 1950, and went to Indiana University, where he was a member of Zeta Beta Tau fraternity. While at IU, he created a flying club, where he learned to fly. Upon graduating with a degree in Business Administration, in 1954, he then served as a lieutenant in the Air Force, for two years, where he met his wife, Ruth Rice, who he married on Nov. 26, 1956. They were married for 48 years when she passed away in 2005. After college Ron was a pilot for several airlines, ending up with TWA when he retired in 1992, at the age of 60. He loved flying, tinkering in his workshop, and riding his motorcycle, which he purchased when he was 65. Ron in survived by his daughter, Debra, his grandchildren, Sean, and Marissa, and his sister, Barbara, who lives in California.
