MISHAWAKA -- Kathleen Ann McAllister, 74, of Mishawaka, died at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2007, in the Cardinal Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in South Bend on April 16, 1932, to Raymond W. and Betty (Slaine) Spenner.
Kathleen married Donald L. McAllister in South Bend on April 24, 1954, and he preceded her in death on June 3, 1996. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Surviving Kathleen is a sister, Susan Dubois of North Liberty.
She was a graduate of John Adams High School, a member of the former Eastern Star #2, the Messiah White Shrine #10, the Order of the Ameranth of South Bend and Immanuel Baptist Church in Mishawaka. Kathleen was a Red Coat volunteer at Saint Joseph Medical Center in South Bend for 22 years.
Friends may call from noon until time of services in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., where services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 31st, with Rev. Rodney Wright officiating. Her final resting place will be at Highland Cemetery in South Bend.
