Helen Louise Henselin

Helen L. Henselin, 73, of Pasadena Avenue, South Bend, Ind., passed away after an illness at 9:20 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31, in Saint Joseph's Regional Medical Center, South Bend.
She was born on Aug. 11, 1925, in South Bend, to Herman and Hattie Kruggel, and lived in the area all her life. Mrs. Henselin was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, William Kruggel, Reinhold Kruggel and George Kruggel; and by two sisters, Charlotte Kruggel and Dorothy Gabor.
She was retired from Metropolitan Life Insurance Company after 41 years of service.
On Oct. 11, 1947, in South Bend, as Helen L. Kruggel, she married Edward F. Henselin, who survives. She is also survived by a son, Edward A. Henselin of South Bend; and by a brother, Herman Kruggel of Vandalia, Mich.
She was a member of the New Apostolic Church and the Metropolitan Life Retirees Club.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 3, in the St. Joseph Funeral Home, 1827 E. Ireland Road. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Family and friends may call from one hour prior to the services in the funeral home.
