 SOUTH BEND — Services for Joseph Edward Wolf, 66, of 17979 Ponader Drive, who died about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday at his home after an illness, will be at 10 am. Friday at Little Flower Catholic Church. Cremation will follow with burial at Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hickey Funeral Home Cleveland Road Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road, where a wake will be said at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc. or the church. Mr. Wolfe retired after 40 years Of service as a professional electrical engineer and was a former employee of Delta Star, Koontz-Wagner Electric Co. Inc. and the former Delp Electric Co.

He was born April 8, 1924 in Noblesville, Ind., and lived in South Bend most of his life. On July 19, 1952 in South Bend, he married Ruth A. Kaniewski, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Carol M. Acton of West Palm Beach, Fla.; a son, Martin of West Palm Beach; a grandson; and a sister, Mary Bright of Indianapolis.

He was a member of the church, National Electrical Contractors Association, Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, and a former coach on the Clay Twp. Peewee and Junior Baseball League. He was a veteran of World War II and a graduate of Purdue University.
