Martha B. Matheney

Martha B. Matheney, 73, passed away at 9:52 a.m. on Sunday, June 6, in the St. Joseph Community Hospital.
Martha was born on Sept. 16, 1925, in South Bend, Ind., to the late Marie and Harold Ditsch.
As Martha B. Ditsch, she married Lehman Matheney in South Bend on April 19, 1947. He passed away on Oct. 31, 1995.
Martha was a member of the Harris Prairie Church of Christ in Granger.
Martha is survived by two daughters, Marie A. Rittenhouse of South Bend and Vicki Brown of Mishawaka, Ind.; three sons, Howard Matheney of Jacksonville, N.C., Raymond Matheney of Osceola, Ind., and Allen Matheney of Michigan City, Ind.; nine grandchildren and a great-granddaughter; two sisters, Virginia Myers of Niles, Mich., and Hazel Puckett of Charlotte, N.C.; four brothers, Hanny Ditsch and August Ditsch, both of Niles, Loren Ditsch of California and Fritz Ditsch of Romulus, Mich.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, with Rev. Steven Randall officiating.
Cremation will take place with the burial at a later date.
