Marjorie Lorraine Martin

Marjorie (Mason) Martin, 70, of 251 Cass St., Niles, Mich., died at home on Thursday, Dec. 5, after an extended illness.
She is survived by her husband, Theodore R. Martin; two sons, Terry and Craig Mason of Niles; two daughters, Tonah Mason of Osceola, Ind., Tamara Mason of South Bend, Ind.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Her parents, Victor and Nellig Shurr, preceded her in death, along with a grandson, Michael Mason, who died Dec. 1, 1996.
There will be a memorial service at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8, at the First Presbyterian Church, Niles, where she was a member. Rev. Ronald Wakeman will officiate. Mrs. Martin's body has been donated to the University of Michigan, for arthritis research.
Arrangements are being handled by Pifer-SMITH Funeral Home, Niles.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, or to Hospice at Home.
