NAPERVILLE, IL -- Jack L. Beal, 79, a 30-year resident of Naperville, died Monday, March 26, in his home.

He was born November 14, 1927, in Fort Wayne, IN. He graduated from Purdue University, class of 1950, with a B.S. in electrical engineering. He was a member of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity since 1945, of Masonic Lodge #725 AF&AM in Fort Wayne since 1954, and of Central United Methodist Church, Fort Wayne.

Mr. Beal served his country during the Korean Conflict as a 1st Lt., U.S. Air Force. He was president of Moldtronics, Downers Grove, IL, from 1975 until his retirement in 1996.

He is survived by his wife, Yvonne (De Nomme) Beal of Naperville; his children, Jennifer (James) Kupfer of Niles, Jacquelyn (Joseph) Metzger of Fanwood, NJ, Matthew Beal of South Bend, Mary Ann (Kevin) Searight of Chanhassen, MN, and Jon (Laura) Buckley of Naperville; a sister, Marilyn (Harry) Sanders of Albuquerque, NM; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Merle and Lucille (Gaskill) Beal; his son, Michael Beal in December 2006; and a granddaughter, Courtney Metzger.

A memorial service will be held in the Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, 516 S. Washington St., Naperville, IL, on Friday, March 30, 2007, at 1 p.m. A short visitation will follow the service.
